Review ~ Wicked #PLL #5 by Sara Shepard

TITLE: Wicked
AUTHOR: Sara Shepard
COPYRIGHT: 2009
TYPE: young adult
PAGES: 311
SERIES:  YES
1. Pretty Little Liars
5. Wicked
6. Killer

REASON FOR READ:
Well come on I read books 1-4 and wanted to know more. Besides it’s turned into my guilty little pleasure

SUMMARY (from Goodreads):
In idyllic Rosewood, Pennsylvania, four very pretty girls just can't help but be bad. . . .

Hanna will do anything to be Rosewood's queen bee. Spencer's digging up her family's secrets. Emily can't stop thinking about her new boyfriend. And Aria approves a little too strongly of her mom's taste in men.

Now that Ali's killer is finally behind bars, the girls think they're safe. But those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it. And they should know by now that I'm always watching…

THOUGHTS/OPINION:
Okay so spoiler seriously people this is the 5 book so if you haven’t read books 1-4 be warned I am going to talk about this book in details…

OMG so Mona is dead as is Toby. Hanna is debating if her step sister Kate is really all she is claiming to be. Emily isn’t gay. Spencer is adopted or at least believes she is. And Aria has the hots for her mom’s new boyfriend who turns out to be a total douche EW… oh Aria’s dad is still with cray cray Meredith who is pregos with the new baby and moves them into a house by Ian. Do you remember him? Well apparently in this book he is in jail but gets out on bail due to his mom dying of cancer HOLY CRAP… Wilden and Jason are still in here as is Maya and Jenna.  And well a whole hell of a lot of others.
Whew I think that catches everything up without giving stuff away per say…

THINGS I LIKED
Whelp I absolutely love that this is no longer the show it is grittier and dirtier and well plain old prettier than the show.
The girls are still a hot mess
I am starting to feel bad for them so at least that has changed
And add to it all there’s a new A!!!
The mystery is still there that was a bonus.

THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE
My God this book jumps around a lot from different perspectives which is good and yet can get overwhelming at times when you want to know more about a chapter.
Man these girls are to the point that they don’t deserve necessarily what is happening then again at times they do.

FINAL GRADE: B
