THOUGHTS/OPINION:
Okay I will be honest it is seriously the cover that dragged me into reading this book and I have to say while not disappointed it wasn’t by far my favorite. A lot of this has to do with the fact that I watch Gossip Girl and I felt like I was reading a show set in the 1800s which wouldn’t be bad but it just wasn’t good for me. I do not know how else to describe it. I thought the plot was good the characters were well defined and drawn out. I managed to get sucked for a while then just like the show I found I didn’t care after a while but, somehow I would get sucked in again. I thought it was interesting reading about what life could’ve been like for a socialite in that time period. It is a good book I think if you enjoy young adult literature and you enjoy whose talking about who and then did you know she is screwing him? And how do I get back at her for that b/c she’s not as pretty as I am. Whew it was a lot! That being said it wasn’t all bad it had its moments where I found myself rooting for one or the other girl.

Would you recommend this book? Yeah I would if anyone asked me for a recommendation that was like the show and young adult I would suggest this one.
