Sound track Saturday is hosted by Erin at The Hardcover Lover which you can visit here. The idea is to list out the soundtrack you listened to while read whatever book you are currently reading...
So here goes.
So here goes.
This week is a repeat since I am still reading the following
Title: Seek and Hide
Author: Amanda G. Stevens
Six years ago, the government took control of the church. Only re-translated Bibles are legal, and a specialized agency called the Constabulary enforces this and other regulations. Marcus Brenner, a new Christian, will do anything to protect his church family from imprisonment—including risk his own freedom to gain the trust of a government agent.
Aubrey Weston recanted her faith when the Constabulary threatened her baby. Now released, she just wants to provide for her son and avoid government notice. But she’s targeted again, and this time, her baby is taken into custody. If only she’d never denied Him, maybe God would hear her pleas for help.
When Aubrey and Marcus’s lives collide, they are forced to confront the lies they believe about themselves. And God is about to grab hold of Marcus’s life in a way he’d never expect, turning a loner into a leader.
So this is a soundtrack based on Christian themes as the book is about God and not being able to worship
1. Til the Day I Die by Toby Mac feat NF
2. Before the Morning by Josh Wilson
3. Hurricane by Jimmy Needham
4. First by Lauren Daigle
5. He is With Us by Love & The Outcome
6. I Believe by Chris August
7. Need You Now by Plumb
8. The Proof of Your Love by For King & Country
9. I Refuse by Josh Wilson
10. He Said by Group 1 Crew
I could actually go on but these are the songs that get me through struggles and I felt hat Aubrey and Marcus are really going through struggles during this book so I recommend they listen to this if that was allowed.
