30 DAY KDRAMA CHALLENGE

Today is: Day 26: Your Recently Finished Kdrama

I just recently finished Goblin the Great and Lonely God. It took me awhile to finish due to the emotional drag of it. So, I would split it up with What is Wrong with Secretary Kim so that I could lighten the feels a bit. I was so happy when Vicki showed Goblin as something I could watch in my country. Before it was unavailable, and I was sure I was going to have to buy the DVDS in order to watch the show knowing that I would be angry about buying DVDs without fully knowing if I would enjoy it. Now I can say that I own the DVDs too for those long flights and car rides. Gawd love Goblin.

I am going to combine these 2 days because to be honest I don’t believe in “worst” actor or actress. I would rather talk about characters because actors and actresses either get better over time or they don’t and honestly, I haven’t seen a “BAD ACTOR/ACTRESS” maybe I have been lucky, but I don’t think so. I absolutely disliked all the boys on Boys over Flowers but particularly disliked Gu Jun-pyo who was just awful and miserable and tortured the main character and talk about toxic relationship OMG was this ever it…

Another one was Go Ara in Hwarang her character annoyed me to no end, and I LOVE her so that was surprising to say the least. There were times I wanted to just strangle her, and I rolled my eyes way too many times when she appeared on that show. Now to be fair I think it was the show in general, but her character really stuck out to me.

Otherwise for the most part I understand why they have the characters they have. I mean let’s be honest if there was no one to hate, dislike or roll your eyes at then what in the world would we do. Honestly, I disliked Kim Sun in Goblin the Great and Lonely God I really disliked her character until about mid-way through the show and I realized that I actually did enjoy the way she was. She was just so unemotional and always appeared bored or annoyed and it took me watching the show further to realize that was a good move for this character. So honestly that showed me the actress played the part just right.

Today is: Day 15: Your Favorite Ending

Dear God if you were able to make it through the last 3 episodes of this show I feel like you deserve a metal. Jesus, I thought the show couldn’t hurt me anymore and yet those last few episodes I was like I’m done I can’t do this. Yet I pushed through to the most satisfying ending ever. I am so so so happy that I stuck it out and made it through. It was hard there were tears I wanted to scream, pull my hair and stomp my foot. I This show is mind blowing and just so good. I can’t stop talking about obviously but good lord everyone should watch this show.

Day 12: Your Favorite Story

OMG why does this challenge ask such difficult questions. I mean can a person really pick their favorite show? And if you did what would one base it off? So, if it is by sheer amount of times watched then it would be Prison Playbook…

If you go off a show that was emotionally draining but worth it… then Goblin is the obvious choice.

If you go off one that you quote the most then I am Not a Robot would be the one I would have to go with.

Yet if you go off a very sweet and cute love story I happen to love 30 but 17 is that cute fluff show I just adore

Today is:

Day 08: Your Favorite Line/s by a Female Lead Character

I know I pick this show a lot but I have to say it did have a lot of quotes in it that are not only relevant in life but also just down right heart wrenching. This would be the latter of the two. I won't go into the spoiler of why it is being said but dear lord it was a dozey and man oh man the tears the sheer amount of tears that flowed from my wee eyes is mind boggling. Seriously check this show out if you haven't Goblin: The Lonely and Great God.

Out of all the quotes I could have picked from this show I picked this one. Mainly because it stuck with me. It is one of those things and quotes that you could apply to anything in life but also one that you could repeat to someone and feel like you know what you are talking about.

I have to say one of my favorite shows which has some of the best one liners in it. Goblin: The Great and Lonely God. The conversations between Goblin and the Grimm Reaper are just mind boggling and down right laugh out loud funny. I enjoyed their playful banter and I could tell they really did like each other.
