30 Day Kdrama Challenge ~ Day 2

I got this photo from here

When I was on Madame Writer's blog for photo above I saw that she did a Kdrama challenge that she found on Tumblr which I linked below. I thought wow I should do this as I am getting more and more into Kdramas (to be fair I have only watched a finished a handful) So I am debating if I should do it all in one post or make it a 30 day challenge...

30 Day Kdrama Challenge

Today is:
Day 02 Your Favorite Male Lead Character

Man this was so hard to pick as I have a lot of male leads that I love. Which I feel like is the whole point of any given show, but particularly Kdramas. I mean the whole point is to enjoy them and want to have a male like that right? Anywho I finally narrowed this down to Park Seo-Joon in What's Wrong with Secretary Kim according to Wikipedia the Korean name for this show is Kimbiseoga wae geureolkka
Anyway the whole show is fantastic and a lot deeper then it first puts out there. Park Seo-joon AKA Lee Young-joon who is a Vice Chairman of Yumyeong Group has a secretary Kim Mi-so who turns in her notice and the vice chairman doesn't know what to do as he has depended on Mi-so for everything, and I mean literally everything for nine years. She literally picks out his clothes, buys gifts for him and his dates and even flowers which she is allergic too. As the story goes on we learn more about the tragic past/backstory that the 2 main leads actually met before when they were young and kidnapped together. But, were they kidnapped together or was it actually Lee Young-joon's brother and then the story starts to reveal itself at the same time that the 2 main leads start to realize they may or may not be in love with each other.
Now I feel that park Seo-joon did a fantastic job playing a character that has a traumatic background who is also arrogant for numerous reasons and struggles with basic everyday things like talking to people. Thorughout the show however, he grows and matures into a man that every woman would be happy to have. I have never read the manga that this is based on so I have nothing to base this off of but I have to say I really enjoyed watching this character unfold and it was a true treat every minute.

Have you watched this kdrama? What were your thoughts on it?
