Today Is:
Day 5: Favorite Friendship
My favorite friendship ironically enough is Sirius Black,
James Potter and Remus Lupin (yes, I know there were 4 in school) however, I
like how much they cared for each other. That they remained friends after
school and how much they looked after Harry in order to protect him. Sirius
didn’t want to be the secret keeper for fear under torture that he would tell
their ware bouts and that takes some deep understanding and friendship. To want
to protect your friend so much you know that under torture that you might not
be able to with hold the information needed to protect them. This friendship
even after loss of James and thinking for awhile that Sirius is the one that
may have killed him, yet Remus is the first to try to come to his defense.
Remus and Sirius remain close after he is released and celebrate together. To
be Remus and lose all those he loves: James and Sirius and to still fight the
good fight was amazing. He continued to hold their memories to the very end.
This the is a great friendship to me. Add to it that the boys learned to
transfigure themselves to make sure Remus had friends every full moon. They did
that for him they transfigured so that he would be safe, protected and have
friends. It is amazing that they held that secret, didn’t treat him any
different, and even went the extra mile to make sure that he could remain apart
of the group.
