So recently there was a meme on Facebook where the person picks 7 books no explanation no reason just pick a book and spread the love. Instead I thought I would put the 7 books here over the week and explain why I picked them

Harry Dresden is the best at what he does. Well, technically, he's the only at what he does. So when the Chicago P.D. has a case that transcends mortal creativity or capability, they come to him for answers. For the "everyday" world is actually full of strange and magical things—and most don't play well with humans. That's where Harry comes in. Takes a wizard to catch a—well, whatever. There's just one problem. Business, to put it mildly, stinks.

So when the police bring him in to consult on a grisly double murder committed with black magic, Harry's seeing dollar signs. But where there's black magic, there's a black mage behind it. And now that mage knows Harry's name. And that's when things start to get interesting.

Magic - it can get a guy killed

Reason:

This is one of the few fantasy books/series that I invested in and still read. A lot series fade for me after book 5 or so I burn out on them never read them again and just move on without a second thought. This series however, is one that I not only have read up to book 16 and buy as soon as they are released. But this is also one that I re-read yearly and promote at every opportunity that I get. I love this series. I love Harry Dresden and I can't wait to see where and how his story is going to go and end. Every book is a twist and a turn. I have to say this is a series that will surprise you and keep you guessing it is also a series that has magic and creatures that keep you entertained. I love learning about Harry and his world and I love learning about his creatures (well not his but the creatures in his world) I love the rules for magic and things that happen in his world. Add to all this there is a mystery in every book. This is a wonderful series and I do highly recommend it to anyone and everyone
